Texas Snow!

Ellianne enjoying her first time in the snow! Thursday morning after breakfast we threw on our boots, hats, and winter coats right over the top of our pj's and played in the snow! We went out again when dad got home from work, but I didn't get any pictures that time. oops...fell down!

Mmmm...tastes good!

I promise I put gloves on her after this! She wanted to touch it!

Elle and our neighbor William playing in the snow. My camera ran out of batteries before I could get a picture of it, but we let the kids "sled" down the tiny slope of a front yard on a cookie sheet. They both loved it!

It's hard to tell, but we got about a foot of snow. (you can see the depth on some of the bushes)

In the 111 years of recording in Texas, this is the most snow (9-14inches) Dallas has seen in a 24 hour period! Fun to see records broken! Also fun that Rusty works for a school district, so he gets to stay home with us today! More snow fun to come this afternoon!
